A Sign of Love

This was part of my "Concentration" for AP Art my senior year of high school. It is my favorite painting, done with watercolors and a little acrylic. My concentration was my representation of my experience in China, when I went there for 5 weeks in the summer of 2005. This little boy is deaf, and he signed "I love you" to us. Ironically, that is one of the only signs that is the same in both Chinese sign language and American sign language.
